Manchester United has been on a very good run lately. In their previous fixture they were held to a 1-1 draw by Birmingham City. They would want to get back to winning ways with a victory in this game and start the New Year with a win. Their form on the road has not been that great and they would want to win an away game to improve their record away from home. Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov will be the players to look out for.
West Bromwich Albion on the other hand has not had a very good run having lost three fixtures in a row. They would want to get their season back on track and a win here would help them do that and also gain confidence for the rest of the season.
