What happens when you mix the biggest presidential race in recent memory with teenage pregnancy? That’s the question that has gained a level of complexity and re-gained national exposure as Briston Palin and Levi Johnston were re-engaged according to announcement on Wednesday by the much debated couple. Melanie Bromley broke the story for Us Weekly and apparently even last year’s Vice President candidate Sarah Palin was not aware of the news. Talks have surfaced regarding a possible Sarah Palin / Levi Johnston reality show. There are so many questions regarding this story that it would be a smashing hit regardless of what happened in the future.
It’s not entirely sure why the couple got back together, why Bristol didn’t let her mom know about it, and how Levi Johnston will be able to make up for the dirt that he gave out on the Palin family during last years’ presidential elections including taking part in a Playgirl photo shoot.
However it seems that the extreme media attention and spotlight the two small-town teenagers received at one of the most important times in American history might have bonded the couple forever. It will be interesting to see how the Bristol/Levi engagement plays out after it seemed like the relationship was ended forever.
