The defending champions Chelsea will take on West Bromwich Albion, which will be the first match for both teams in the Premier League season that is scheduled on the 14th of August.
Chelsea will miss out on midfielder Jack Cork who has been signed by Burnley on a season-long loan.
Even the Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho has left Chelsea after a striking a deal with Real Madrid. So it is a twin blow for the Chelsea that is the reigning champions of the Premier League.
West Bromwich Albion’s manager Roberto Di Matteo is confident that the newly signed Pablo Ibanez will be fit to play in the upcoming game against the Chelsea.
Bromwich has a tough task ahead on Saturday, as they were promoted from the Championship last term.
