Olivia O'Neil, Miss Teen Wanganui, Loses Title For Dyeing Her Hair

We teach our kids the importance of honesty and being true to yourself, but those traits did not pay for teen beauty queen Olivia O’Neil. The 15-year-old New Zealander was stripped of her Miss Teen Wanganui title after just a three-month reign because she committed the terrible sin of dyeing her hair.


15-year-old beauty queen Olivia O'Neil never realized the color of her hair could cost her the beloved crown she won only three months earlier as Miss Teen Wanganui. But when Facebook photos surfaced of her sporting a dark brown 'do, as opposed to her usual blonde locks, things went awry.

Olivia was the only crown for three months, when it published a photograph of a new profile on her page that displays Facebook recently dyed dark brown hair.

Pageant organizer Barbara Osborne saw the picture on the Internet and said: “This is a wig?”

Osborne continued: “I hope she does not give me a heart,” “My God, I hope Demi. Please tell me that this is a wig. ”
