Newcastle United’s Chris Hughton is no longer the manager of the club. The players were shocked to hear this news. Newcastle started the season very well, but in recent periods has slacked a bit. They have not won a single EPL game in their last 5 fixtures.
Liverpool is still in the process of recovery and has started playing well. Unfortunately Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher will be still unfit for this fixture. Pepe Reina is having a good time in front of goal and the mid-fielders and strikers are taking opportunities to bag goals. Fernando Torres should be back for this game.
A win for Liveprool would take them closer to the top four which was not looking likely a couple of months back. They are currently in 8th spot. While for Newcastle a win would mean them going back to the top half of the table from their current 12th place.
